Laid to rest at a National Cemetery with all the brave men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to give us the freedom we now enjoy

His mother and I will be buried along side of him when our time comes

He was so loved by his family that I can’t post a picture without crying

Success I can take pictures again

Almost finished one large oval hole to fill

Joining the rope ends, was easy since I filled the hollow rope with 3M adhesive, and the cut off with my dremel, once the adhesive set up

Re: PO has me PO'd

First attempt at descaling heavy rust……..right now I am just spraying vinegar

I’ve read about using a battery or charger but I forget the solution to use for suspending it into

Not bad for little effort. One spot I may try to chip out with a center punch

They look great. Do you think the ultrasonic cleaner is helping the process?

Leads me to believe so, sorta beaks the chemical bond between the rusty metal and the base metal, couple spots it still stuck but as a whole I would call it a success, all I did was push a button

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

Only thing I would have done differently is add another gallon of vinegar so the part was submerged

I cheaped out it flashes over quick

Doesn’t seem to have any adverse effects between to different paints

This is the system I’ll be using to attach my high hump to the floor pan.

I didn’t want to scratch the paint so I used rubber sealed washers then the ss serrated flanged nuts will bite into the ss washers
