kinda looks like a heinz 57 The 68's had marker lights and the 67's did not have the chrome trim that ran on the front fenders and accross the hood....

its just a rough power guess, might end up with more maby less, depending on my injector choice and boost levels i guess.

Well my friend bought it very rough and built it over a long period of time with what he had available to him. The right front fender is from a different year so he shaved the marker light to make it match. I believe the bed is from a different year also.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

Nothing wrong with the heinz 57.... thats what mine is i took all the thing i liked best about these style trucks and combined them for my project... 1970 4x4 k10 with a 1968 front clip with 1968 door panels 1969 nova ss 327 engine with pre 68 camel hump heads front seat is from a 1996 chevy tahoe (for the cup holders lol) factory green tinted windows. took me several parts trucks and many trips to the wrecking yards... and still many thing to change.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

here's my K5. 1972, color is NASCAR Rocket Red. sits on a 4" lift. 350 crate engine with about 20K miles. tranny, transfer case and rear end all been rebuilt and completely beefed up. interior completely restored as well. This truck has been a blast in the summertime...as soon as the temp hits 55F, the top comes off and doesn't go back on until early November. When the snow flies, the beast comes back out for some fun and then immediately back to the garage until the slop goes away.

i'll post better pics soon.

Very cool rig, looks like the kids and dog like it as much as you do! I know my kids (and my old dog) love riding in my old truck.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

You are correct sir...with Kevlar. So far, I dig the tires. We'll see once the snow flies though. I wanted an aggressive tire, checked toyo, nitto, went with Goodyear. Make sure you get the rebate.

Thanks...told the fam I was thinking about a trade for a 69 suburban and my daughter burst into tears. If I were to let this truck go, I will have a daughter in therapy for the next several years!
