Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Very good condition 10' Alaskan NCO pop-up $1800
If this were an 8 footer, I'd be sharing what I'd just bought in a different thread - just not a fan of driving with the gate down and the camper extending all the way to the end of it. But still, a real nice Alaskan. Now if only I could find an 8' version in similar condition, in Texas... https://wausau.craigslist.org/rvs/d/...669309765.html |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Tempting (and thank you), but for some reason I don't really like the look of the 10 footers hanging out on the down tailgate, looks like it's about to fall out It IS a nicer camper than an 8 footer, that extra 2' really helps, but I think I'm gonna have to pass. Thanks again though, much appreciated!

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Found the Dark Olive 72 1/2 ton Cheyenne 4x4 on Craigslist back in May out of Eastern Oregon, took a trip over to see it and the Light blue truck a 69 1/2 ton Custom trim 4x4 was there also available but not listed on Craigslist. It did not have a title at the time and the owner said he would work on getting. About 45 days later he contacted me with good news that he now had the title. So two separate trips to go pick them up. After I picked up the last one the Farmer had several more farm vehicles and tractors out on the other side of the road for sale getting ready for an estate sale. I noticed in the back a dually C30, I called back to the house and he said its yours for $500, so I guess I will be going back for another trip soon to complete the triple play. Sometimes you never know what will happen if you go take a peak. The hubcaps were a total of about a dozen for $30, mix and match a few 4x4 with cut outs and the older ones in the picture. The motor is a completely rebuild 292 ready to go, after I repaint and dress it up a little. Over all I spent under $4000 for everything and the 72 green truck had several NOS parts still in the boxes in the cab and a few desirable items in the the bed that I need to go through.

Possibly a highlander too. Have seen every available plaid color in a yellow truck except blue! I wonder what this one is.... https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/c...679352270.html Last edited by jocko; 08-24-2018 at 04:07 PM. |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Hello folks. I am visiting the Reno area next week and I am interested in this truck:
https://reno.craigslist.org/cto/d/19...666091765.html Just wondering if anyone out there knows anything about this truck. I have emailed the seller but no reply yet. No phone listed either. I was hoping to drive it home. I wish I knew how to post the CL photos on here. Any suggestions?

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
I saw Reno truck at swap meet two weeks ago. It is wayyy rougher than it appears in pics. I literally walked past it not even giving it a second glance. On Craig’s over a year.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
good work detectives!
just noticed date stamps on photos.. not always accurate unless camera operator keeps clock set, but Jan and Jun '17 is what's on there.. be careful with that one but good luck if there's enough there to make it worthwhile..

I too noticed those date stamps. That could be either good or not so good. I hope the seat is better now than in the photos. He said he had it rebuilt with a black scrollwork seat cover. I think this fellow's main effort was on the engine and related items such as radiator and gas tank. Just hoping it will make a cross country trip.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Extremely good deal on a 73 Chinook. These things don't leak or decay like most of the old ones. $500. If only I were closer...
And, UGH, my truck has 557 paint - just LOOK at those stripe colors... Surely SOMEone is driving from Butte to Texas ion the next few weeks?? I'd gladly reward you handsomely https://butte.craigslist.org/rvs/d/c...679737893.html Last edited by jocko; 08-24-2018 at 10:00 PM. |

Anyway- there are a number of people that he has already talked to about that rig, so he's going to give me a call back if it doesn't sell before the weekend. If it's available- the wife and I gonna drive the old rig over there and see if it fits Owner lives in a gorgeous area of Montana- near the Big Hole and Wisdom. Unfortunately if that is the case- it ain't making its way to TX! |

I think this has been listed before, but it's been quite a while. Really like the dark gold poly color/interior combo. https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/c...672024350.html |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
The owner just called me and we talked for awhile. I am not expecting the paint to be like new. In fact I was hoping it would be original old paint. But he said the damage was limited to the passenger door. He will be sending me more photos. I am interested but I am also cautious if you know what I mean. AC does not work and I am not surprised. It is good to hear from folks like you who have actually seen the truck. Of course I want to crawl under the truck and look under the doors, etc but that will have to wait until I get there Sept 6. Thanks for your help.
