Here is a new pic of my truck, I spent all day buffing and waxing it. Sadly, the picture does it to much justice, but it still looks a lot better.

On a side note, I love your truck. Came across your youtube video about 4 days ago and then found your build up thread. Coming along real nicely. Made me rethink everything I had planned for my truck. Now I'm at a complete blank as far as what engine I'm gonna run

Did you have to get the brackets to go with it or did you use the 73-80 brackets?

i had to cut the end of my frame off and use the '84 brackets, if you decide to do the swap look at your frame ends and the frame ends of the donor to see if they are different, if they are make a template of the donor to use on your truck

Yup, they are lakepipes that angle is kinda deceiving. Here is a different picture

The wheels give the truck the lowrider look/personality. Personally I think some big billets for example would destroy the look it has going on.

I'm really not a wire wheel guy but they do look great on that truck. I think it has something to do with the phantom the wires seem to go well together. Also like that it is a stepside man.

Well this is good to know. I didnt think there would be such a difference in the frame ends. But I am considering the swap because it looks really good. And yours is the only round-eye square body I've seen with an 83-87 front bumper.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

When I first saw that truck, it reminded me of the a truck from a TV show. Just can't think of that TV show.
