Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

I'd say she could compete with those riddler cars, your attention to detail is outstanding on this truck! Maybe the nicest example of our trucks I've ever seen. I had a question for you, I noticed your inner fenders are bolted to the lip on the top of the fender. Does that small lip on the bottom of the hood hit it when you close it or have you shaved the hood lip off? Any pics to explain would be appreciated. Thanks Eric

I see this thread surface frequently and have checked it out myself. Great job, one suggestion, consider changing the name of your thread since your mother (as far as I could remember, I apologize if I'm mistaken) is now cancer free. - karma (I'm not a Buddhist)

Eric, no matter what brother, you have one of the finest rides in America! There isn't one person on this board that wouldn't dream of having Tootsie. And to be able to build this as fast as you did and still manage your profession and your family.....unbelievable man.

I believe it was said a couple post above.....you "Da Man"!!!

Eric, you did a outstanding job on Tootsie and now its time to show it off and enjoy it!
Thank you I will. I plan on showing it off a lot and then driving the heck out of it

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Well I am back at it again on Tootsie. I have been working very close with Pasqual Marquez and Manning from Marquez Design and fabrication. We will be having Vince from seat works do the stitching. I will be painting the dash interior color. The interior will be leather and vinyl. We are going for something the factory may have done for a concept in the late 60s. With these guys I have know we will pull it off. We will be going with a little darker interior I will shoot pics tonight so you can see the color samples. We will be shooting pics of the new Marquez complete interior panel kit that will be available for these trucks in the next few weeks
