Awesome rig! I think you paid a good fair price for it.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Thanks, I have no remorse. There are some really nice rigs on this site. It took me three days to go through all the pages on this thread. Love them all.
By the way, does anyone know where I can get a front bumper winch mount for my truck? It is hard to find anything that fits 1970 stuff. |

You are probably going to have to find a vintage winch set up to copy. Let me know if that is the route you take, I know a member here that has a really clean vintage winch that he could probably take pictures of for you to copy?

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Yes, .. sure was mocajoes. Very nice! I'm an old Camaro guy too. I have restored two but I had to get out of them. They just got too expensive for me. Most everyone is building them now just to see what they can get for them on auction. Just not many people building them to keep anymore. .. un-like the 67-72 guys I have talked to so far. As most of them are, I'm building my 69/68 to keep.
I can understand building 100 point show cars, don't get me wrong but with Camaros I found it was mostly about numbers, the right distributor, the right this and that and it had to be 'correct' in someone else's eyes for them to like it. I just want to build something for me, and what I like that I can pass to my son one day. But, I'm still diggin your Camaro though! One of my all time favorite colors too. Later.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
That is awesome! The camaro in the photo is actually my dads 69 z/28 he has had it for years it's a driver, he drives it on roads trips etc. It has the original dz 302. He wants to drive it not show it. It is partially mine but that is another story. I have 3 swb 4x4s I love em all I drive one offroad with out tearing it up. I have my favorite 70 swb 4x4 cst factory
air, tach, buckets, 4 speed. I am the second owner. drives like new. Until I totaled it, brake failure hit a rock to stop it rolled it. right before I started my resto. just lifted it and new exhaust. I cried. yep 37 yrs. old and cried. Ill post a pic of that one soon. Thanks Luv u guys' interests |

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
wideside, no no cage in the next one. I was not wheeling this one when I wrecked. I had just stopped at the local tire shop before I went out hunting for a leaky brake seal on the right rear. well they fixed me up and all of the sudden that brake worked better than all the others long story short after hunting headed home about 30 mph gradual curve to the right lifted off the gas applied some brake right rear locked up and yanked the nose right into a rock the size of a bbchevy it stuffed the front tire back put me completely sideways and on my lid. bent the frame so never restored it actually just traded it to the guy for the 94 tbi set up for the white one. and yes no one was hurt. but my pride. my first accident in my life when I was driving.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
I'm an old Camaro guy too! Owned mine 30+ yrs, no intention of selling even with the BJ auction prices. I drive mine when it is not broke! (power shifting the 5 speed) I have 72 K5 that is in the pic of the Gold 68 I posted yesterday. I tell everybody it has a DZ502 in it, confuses the Yuppies I love driving around in the Classics!

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
It must be in the blood or something. Most 67-72 guys I have ever met like the First Gen Camaros too. Very nice Camaro by the way. Both mine were small block cars, nothing like monsters you guys have! Wow.
