For sure. Sounds like a good place to be. I think you know, if you remember, my sister and old friend/brother-in-law live in Sebago.

I'm a couple of hours from there in Calais on the New Brunswick border, nice little town you picked. I'm a North Carolina transplant. I love it here except no collards or country ham!

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

The life of my '95 Chevy in three pictures

How I bought it off a used car lot. Emerald Green/Grey interior 6.5TD/5spd Cheyenne former masonry contractor truck in '98
Name: DSCN0273.jpg
Views: 233
Size: 58.7 KB

How it ended up, minus the ladder rack and custom tonneau cover. GM color Fairway Green with upgraded GM cloth seat re-cover and a host of mods
Name: 95 K3500 Cheyenne.jpg
Views: 229
Size: 22.2 KB

It's sad ending. An accident had literally just been cleared from a sharp curve descending into the river valley/county line. I hit antifreeze and it was slick as ice. Only doing 40 in 4th gear but the tail end slide out, I steered into it as usual, and it whipped back to slide out the other way, putting me sliding sideways across the lanes. I did a reverse t-bone into a Taurus which flipped me up clear over the car landing on it's lid against the bank on the opposite side of the road. No sooner had I shut it down and undid my seat belt and I heard someone say "Watch your eyes", before breaking my window out. It was the county sheriff who had just turned around at the river coming back up after he left the prior accident. EMT Suburban was behind him. Just plain bad luck. The officer asked if I was ok as I crawled out and I said, "I'm pretty bummed out". This was Oct '04, about a month before I joined here

Thanks. I built it to be the ultimate work truck. I had the local race chassis builder build me a heavy duty 4-ling air bag rear suspension, so I could drop the tail end down for unloading the racks. The racks were two-stage powder coat in gun metal grey, then had Line-X mask them off to coat from about 1/4" over the top on the outer side all the way across to the other side, in dark grey. I had my upholstery guy make a tonneau cover out of grey truck tarp material. L.E.D.s with strobes, the list went on.

Awesome pics. And welcome to the forums.
I'm no flier but I do love looking at WW2 era planes. We toured a flight museum in Pensacola last summer and one at Mobile a few years ago.

Sounds like the perfect work truck and what a way to go. Sucks to lose something like that.

No expense spared. It was a 9 year old truck to the insurance co. I showed all my receipts and got a good bit more, but a drop in the bucket still. The paint (cab forward) was a trade work deal, so no receipt there. II also didn't let them have it, and salvaged what I could. Unbelievably, that fiberglass hood had no damage what so ever

You should check out member 7dee2 build thread on his 67 Camaro. He's putting one of these in his "old school" build. Post 385, but the whole thread is great.

I sure do remember those roll bars. I see your Mopar drag car addiction is doing well. Good to see your name. Mount it up. But I hope you never need it

Been awhile..Hello everybody.......Tim and Mark glad to hear from you guys....
Yes besides the truck hobby I love the old mopars... I found this demon which was in business back in the 70s and 80s...and then retired...going through car to make it safe and legal..Here is a picture I did not take of the car in 73 at Beech bend raceway and a picture of that bar installed when I first took ownership..Rob
