Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Hey Jock Merry Christmas from New Scotland..
I joined over here 5 years ago when I was putting together a few 73-87's. I've gone back in time with the newest ones I've got. That's OldBlueTrucks 55 - fresh from Texas. Fred has been hounding me for that 55 Belair but the boys would not hear of me selling it. LOL |

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Hey guys can I play along with my new 46? I bought her about 2 months ago. She has a 350/350 engine tranny combo out of a 69 camaro. AMC Pacer front end. The mock up has been done by someone else. He did 50% of it right, 25% wrong and the other 25% just has'nt been done yet. My plan is to drive it around for a year or so, gather up all the parts I will need and then do a total strip and rebuild with all new white paint.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
1954 Chevy 6100 with a hydraulic dump bed and a 327 V8. I just bought it yesterday. It has sat since it last hauled a few loads of grain in 2009 (the load that was hauled to the elevator weighed 12,000 lb). I tinkered with it a bit this morning and got it running pretty easily by priming the fuel pump, by lightly pressurizing the fuel tank with an air blow-off gun, and giving the quadrajet carb a couple of shots of starting fluid. It did drive it a little, not much since the only brakes right now is the emergency brake. |
