I'll try to get some tomorrow. With it being up against the garage I couldn't get a good pic.

I guess we'll cut you some slack The more I look at the pics, the sweeter your blazer looks, and the more I want to build my own blazer...my wife even likes it and thinks it'd be sweet to have one

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

ent over to pick up a few items to get out of his way and he had it outside. The red really stands out when it's not up against the florescent lights. He was working on the door panels. I was just going to use the metal ones with no arm rests, but didn't want the window crank hole there. He got the hood finished, speaker pods done, and the the tank painted.

Sorry for the crappy pics, but all I had was my cellphone on me.

I just found this thread...What an inspiration to all of the people that find beauty in a pos, and have a vision, and all the intestinal fortitude it takes to make a dream like that come true. Fantastic job on your roadster build.

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

Here in Missouri,... we have Historic plates that never have to be renewed also. AND, we have "personalized" historic plates that run $15.00/year without an annual inspection.
Maybe TN has the same thing.

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

I'll look into it. I wouldn't mind the $15 a year if it was personalized. I think you can personalize an antique tag here. I'll have to look into that.

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

Looks great! It is hard to tell but is it cleared in the pics or is it a single stage? I have spent the last few weeks painting my Dad's MB as a Christmas present for him so I know what your body guy is going thru in this weather. Sorry but I have to include one pic of my first time Air brushing (Letters and logo). It is burried under three layers of clear.

I sure can't wait to get my 2wd Blazer to this stage, heck I can't wait to even get it started.

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

Kevin, I believe it's just a single stage. It's the Hot Rod Flatz Red, no clear at all.

Ok because it looks like BC/CC before the clear is added. So what all do you have left before it is om the road? Have you figured out what you doo for the windshield as far as running a top channel or just the raw glass?

One more customer build before my 70 rolls in the shop Then all H3LL breaks loose.

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

It's going to be raw glass across the top. Got several things left to do including seats, cutting the lower cup.

Actually, as I'm typing UPS just showed up with the seats. I'll grab them and bring them over to him in just a sec.

I'll work over the winter on the wiring and other stuff.
