That's a really slick design. Can't wait to see it on the truck in action!

Re: Jans 53

Shot some epoxy primer on the bed frame today. These small annoying jobs are wearing on me but I’m trying to stay motivated. The finger is about half healed now but still pretty ugly, the amputation was pretty minor so once healed it shouldn’t be too noticeable.

For any of you guys complaining about working on your project, I don't wanna hear it... Jan is doing it with only 92% of her hand left, still healing, welding hinges and shooting primer!

Get back ta work ya lazy bums

Re: Jans 53

I’m still lurking around watching everyone else.
Unfortunately my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in Oct so I have been staying with her.
On a good note I am with my daughter and sil in Arizona this weekend to pick up his Polaris rzr that he won from iconixindustries.co who knew people really do win! Look at the link for more info. I will post more info on this later we pick it up 4 hrs from now.

Re: Jans 53

Sorry about your mom. You are putting your time where it really counts. For some de-stressing, may I suggest going for a rip in SIL's new toy. It looks like some seriously silly fun!

Cool new toy. We rented one last year when we went to Sedona. It was so much fun. It was the highlight of our family vaca.

Re: Jans 53

I’m baaack! Started by putting the gas struts on the bed floor. These struts are some I had sitting around the garage they feel like about 60 lbs each. I will probably have to buy some heavier ones once I get the wood on.
On another note my mom passed away last week. I have been staying at her house the last 7 months. Im having to adjust to being back home and lord knows the hubby wasn’t doing any deep cleaning.lol

Yes, sorry about your mom.

What is that "deep clean" you speak of?

Glad you are home and back on the truck.
