Yeah me too, I'm hoping I can get all the panels mocked up to set the gaps by the end of the summer and get some color on it this fall.

Thanks, check out streetsideauto.com. I got mine from there for around $300.00 shipped. They are always running 5% - 10% off sales plus free shipping on orders above $300.00.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Hey Keith, just a word of caution with the champion radiator, I bought one on eBay, lasted less than 4 months in the truck before it cracked and started leaking. They replaced it with no issues. Installed the new one and within 2 months it started leaking, looked like the aluminum stretched and cracked on the tanks. They were going to replace it again but I decided to buy a Be Cool instead. It hasn't leaked a drop!!

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Was a productive weekend for me. I pulled all the air bags back out and trimmed the airlines with an airline tubing cutter, then reinstalled the fitting with loctite pneumatic thread sealer. All my air leaks are now fixed. Held constant airpressure for 24 hours. Also installed my porterbuilt front shock relocators and shocks.
Prepped the underside of my cab so my brother could finish welding it. Also picked up some 3/16" by 2" steel that he welded in for the supports for my bucket seats. Also blasted my high hump so now that is ready to install.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
This weekend I installed my Porterbuilt front sway bar, I'm going to change the hardware to grade 8 as I think it came with grade 5 and would just feel better with grade 8.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
My brother finished welding the bottom of my cab up so I cut out and installed my high hump and painted the bottom of the cab with POR-15. Next step is to seam seal it and roll on some bedliner. That should keep everything sealed up and keep the rust away, hopefully for a while
Some Pics

The Porterbuilt sway bar fit great, I did change all the hardware over to 3/8" grade 8 as mine came with grade 5. I had to drill 2 holes, one on each side to mount it. the other 2 holes used existing holes in the frame. The Camaro Rear Bar has no binding or clearance issues the way I mounted it, even at full dump of the bags. I have alot of things going on in that area between the bar and my exhaust and everything clears. Good luck with yours, can't wait to see all those new suspension and brake parts on there.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
I'll try to find out for you Chris, I threw the boxes out and actually won't be near my truck for a couple of weeks. I will email Nate to see what the part number is for the front shocks.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Well guys my project has taken a major turn in direction this past week. I needed to find a bed for my project as my fleetside that came on the truck needs alot of rust work, more than i'm willing to do. It would have also bogged down this build another couple of years trying to fix it. So I decided to make a change. My truck is now going to be a Stepper. I bought a set of rust free original 1967 takeoff stepside fenders from Frank Ham of PICKMUP parts in Washington. He is a vendor on the board and a very nice guy. I thank him for going the extra mile with packaging these so they could make it 3000 miles without getting damaged. These fenders are mint, I can't believe how nice, original and rust free these are. My fathers eyes almost popped out of his head when he saw them. He just kept saying "wow these are really nice".
