Re: Found me a possible truck 1971 gmc swb

You can save your self a couple of bucks by frequenting the local auto swap meets, wrecking yards and craigslist if your a little patient. I love looking for parts that way takes a little longer to find things but worth it in the end.

Dude... I know you're helping. But asking the kid to ask for handouts isn't the way to go if you ask me.

Re: Found me a possible truck 1971 gmc swb

That turn indicator lens is specific to the GMC isn't it...

I've got a few pairs of decent lenses for a 71-72 bumper, too bad they won't work for you.

Where are you getting the transmission from? Are you going with a Turbo 350 again?

Schrum, go start a new thread on the project and build area. This thread was such a mess and so full of junk, you should just let it die. In a few years, when you look back at how far you have come, you wont want to relive all that crap.

Before you go to Dave's search the web, brothers truck parts and gmc Paul's is cheaper to order from on some things. Especially when they have a sale. And like tsail said you can get used parts cheap if you search for them
