Re: Project: NO-LIFE,...

With the truck up and running and most of the leaks fixed I decided to address a few things in the interior that bothered me. At some point and time during its life someone thought painting the inside of the doors with some tractor enamel with a brush (2 different colors) was a good ideal. I thought I could get it down to factory paint relatively quick, after almost 6 hours I got the passenger side done. Although it’s not super nice factory paint I would rather have it than the brushed on crap. I also dyed the door panels and arm rest to match the seat while I had them off.

Looks great! What did you use to dye the panel?

The black you're using in the engine bay is the perfect sheen. Whats the name of it?

Phill, I tracked that stuff down last week. The only place you can order it is directly through the manufacturer http://medallionrefinish.com. They told me $55 to ship a quart with activator to my door. I plan on ordering some soon.

Bringing this thread back to life.
I now own my old red 69 again.
n2billet did some amazing work to it while it was in his possession.
Glad to have this truck back!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Thank you very much.
I’m not sure why I feel connected to this truck, but do.

I told him I'm on the list if he sold it. Found out the plan & couldn't be happier.

Thanks.
It’s way nicer than when I sold it.
It’s on air ride and has a bunch of Porterbuilt parts on the chassis.
I couldn’t be happier with it.
It’s hard to explain all the work n2billet did to this truck.
