Pete, I actually think I saw that truck friday as I was leaving the sunport. It was a few cars behind me in traffic and i didnt get a good look but the bumper looked similar to the truck you posted.

Bustin drifts in CO. The truck has been torn down completely and painted. It now has a D60 and 14BFF with 2' lift. Fresh 406 SBC with FI. I just installed a hydroboost this past weekend too. It starts and idles well but I need to finish the brakes and put the doors back together, before I can drive it and finish tuning the FI.

Here's a 71 K20 Cheyenne (402 replaced the 350) and a 72 K30 Cheyenne Longhorn. No, the General didn't make any of these (K30 or K30 Longhorn, for that matter), but several members have and this one is pretty nice. Enjoy. So am I! When I was 13-14 I saw a truck that looked exactly like that in Carlisle IOwa. K30 Longhorn. I have never seen it around here again. That green 71 looks to be pretty darn nice too!

Funny, back in late July, I found almost that exact truck for sale up in NorCal. Before you ask the original link is deleted/dead!

Clearly they are different trucks but so very similar!

72 K2500 Sierra Grande with buckets, tach and A/C.
White/Parchment with a PTO front winch.
It had a service body as well with an 8' cab over Alaskan on it.

Unfortunately I can't find the ad or pictures in my files.
Found a ghost of the ad and Special-K sent two pictures saved when I referred the ad to him though.

I will second that. I am becoming to learn that if you have a decent running driving K20 or even a K10, it is worth more than you are thinking. They are getting very hard to find in even a restorable condition.

Amen to that. They are still around on the western side of the country but on the east coast the 4x4s are extremely hard to find. It took my dad several years to find one that was worth saving. Here in the west they are around but by all means far less common than the 2x4 trucks.

I was looking at that one just the other day on CraigsList or eBay. Can't remember where, I ended up searching the entire western portion of the country... if I remember correctly, the seller's asking same price whether you take the camper or not.
