Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
Nice work on the cab and it looks like the booth worked just fine. Any specs on the seam sealer? Did you just pick it up at the paint store? I still have to do my whole cab.
thanks! |

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
well here you go! not the best but tight quarters, i get some better ones when i pull it outside and take down the plastic. i am going to wet sand and have a couple of spots on the inside roof. i had a hard time keeping fuid at the bottom of the gun while standing on my head trying not to touch anything wet while holding the airline to keep of the rockers! i have to give it to the painters that do this everyday and for someone else. the only person that can get mad at my mistakes is some dummy!

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
Every dime and penny that you probably had!
Props to Top Banana Repro Parts for the deal you got on that bed as well. I was thinking, for a steel floor bed you should install the floor on the frame, then build the bed on top of that. My wood floor had to be done in the yard then installed. I would go for the Tractor Supply Carriage bolt bins for most of the parts.

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
well put the cab on the frame tonight! looks really good to me! not a barrett jackson mobile but very useable and still look good! i had put the bedliner on the cab floor last night, oxy moron if i ever heard one. it worked great but very very messy! i had it all over me and all over the floor, if i knew it would run as much would have used a piece of plastic. oh well, give one of the kids some thing to do, give em' a hoe and let them scrape! did half way up firewall, was going to paint to match but think it looks good with the black on the engine and with black inner fenders.
i have to say thanks to top bananna for a smoking deal on a set of true stamp 67' bedsides and header panel. nice that i will not have to fill the marker lights. had a good time at truck carlisle and got a lot of parts that i needed. also got to see some board members. saw some nice trucks and one silver truck that i am still trying to figure out what it was? mike did you figure it out yet?
