Joe, did you notice the little minibike under my table at the Pate swap meet ? It's been a very fun project so far.

Re: My 63 farm truck build thread
It's definitely going to be Southside. Wait till you see the powdercoat color and the seat.
Funny thing is I was fixing this thing up to be a beater for the swap meets so anyone could use it. I've kind of gotten project scope creep though and it's looking like it's going to be a bit fancy and I'm going to be afraid to loan it out.

Re: My 63 farm truck build thread
that truck looks awesome im suprized it took me so long to come across it the only idea that might help the roofrack a bit might be a pipe with rollerbearings on the rear so its eazier to load long pieces ontoo it without screaching noizes
on the tires , a small white line on the sidewall might break it enough to prevent it from looking too big on the truck they did those tires in that era too the dash looks realy nice maibe the big truck ones have the extra guages in them you need (oilpressure temp that sortah stuff ) i think you can replace the blockout plates with them in the dash you have (not sure if you allready had those gauges in there allready ) too bad you allready done the little briggs up you mightve been able to hook a little generator to it and make a stickwelder from it in the back of the truck the state it was in wouldve been perfect in the bed rallies with policecar hubcaps would been my choice on the truck but im verry curious to what you came up with

This is what I've been keeping busy with lately. I needed a break from the truck for awhile.

Kevin:
You have a true talent with bringing the old back to new. I loved the video of the 3 h.p. Briggs! |

That's very nice of you to say Tony. One thing's for sure though, I have no talent for video production.

Re: My 63 farm truck build thread
Alvin, I got them from an ebay seller named "bladesmithbendor" . He's the go to guy for all decals in the small engine restoration hobby.
Here is his store... http://stores.ebay.com/ENGINE-DECALS?_rdc=1

Re: My 63 farm truck build thread
I figure about 2 more weeks on this thing and I will put the wheels on the truck.
It's nice to do something different than old trucks sometimes. I actually have an old motorcycle to restore next. Don't worry though, wheels will be installed as soon as this minibike is done. Besides, I'm having to wait for the adapters for the Momo teddy bear wheels anyway.
