Even the owner of the truck though it was the ugliest paint job he had ever seen. The truck was locally known as "Ugly Arth". Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
Yep you are right, it is...
AS far as the wheels, not real, they are XZL Michelin tires. They don't come in a 41" rim, nothing does. (In the window it says 41") The biggest they come in is a 21" rim 24R21 and usually you will find them in a 20" wheel - 6.50R16, 9.00R16, 11.00R20, 16.00R20, 14.00R20, 335/80R20, 365/80R20, 365/85R20, and 395/85R20 plus the 24R21. (maybe more sizes to) The photo'd pic looks horrible, look at the side wall of the tires in comparison to where the wheels are. WAY off... As far as the red paint and gold goes, I feel it's best not to reply to that. ummm... Gold signals in the grille? Hey, why are the wipers not gold? (kidding) |

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
Heres a 88 I got a few months ago. its my first truck and a big difference in a chevelle! lol, but its nice for 18.
3/4Ton Silverado- - TBI350/TH400/NP208/10bolt/14bolt with 3:73s open diffs (all to change!) 6" lift suspension/blocks- blocks are going in the trash ASAP for some 4" Shackle flips from ORD on 35s. here is the day i bought it after about 3 hours of cleaning. inside is clean for an 88 thats for sure. Ive put a CB radio in it and a new headunit with ipod jack, a ORD sway bar correction/disconnect kit, and a dual steering stabilizer. i plan on a LQ9 motor with ORD engine crossmember and a 4L80E from Monster transmissions with a stall around 3000. heads and cam and eventually a magnacharger. also a dana 60 and swap out gears for 4:56s with arb air lockers front and rear. bushwacker cut outs with 37s and beadlocks, a whole lot of stuff from ORD, gunmetal grey paint job, HID headlights, amber/yellow foglights, snorkle, and lots more. |

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
Do you have anymore pix of that purple people eater? I've seen similar trucks but most are taken from this same angle. Other then stretching the frame and filling in the suburban rear wheel well with a lower door skin How is the back of the suburban doors filled in? Or is it left stock so the doors open into the bed? Or is a truck back window grafted on?

Michael,
I remember seeing that purple truck in a 4x4 mag about 10 years ago in a burn out contest! It has a rear truck sheetmetal with a rear truck window in it. |
