Wow man you've really come a long way since I've looked last! Are you gonna be driving the truck to school this year? Hope your mom is doing better.

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
well i took the 67, heater, manual transmission, with guages wiring out of the truck today and i took a 67, heater, automatic transmission, with guages wiring harness for the dash and took all of the nuetral saftey switch wires out of the fuse box and ends for lights and ignition. next up i took a 67, A/C, manual transmission, with gauges and made my dash wiring harness into what i need: a 67, A/C, automatic transmission, with guages wiring harness so now im going to buy some electrical tape and tape it back up the way the factory would have had it. pics soon to follow.

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
well good news.
today i got the whole A/C and heater to work, all i need to be complete is to buy the belt for the A/C recharge the A/C and get the condensor and drier cansiter cleaned up and install the condensor. i need to hook up all the hoses for A/C and buy to hoses for the heater. i found a guy who will sell me the front window for 66.50 compared to 90.00 so needless im going with the 66.50 guy the window is green tint as well. so windows should be coming soon as i get some parts sold on the board. called my driving class and made my last 2 appointments ones on the 11th from 9 to 10:30 and the last one is on the 15th from 9 to 10:30 so the 16th or 17th i should have my lisence!! next up to buy: exhaust windows, defroster/heat/A/C hoses, registration, new curcuit board for tach dash, 2 rubber heater hoses from engine to heater core and some more gas lol. right now im putting in all the vaccum lines for the A/C...... its pretty cool, 67 uses (the only way i can describe it is its a wire without the brass inside, its just the colored isulation) and 69 or maybe starting 68 they used a small rubber hose. |

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
thanks 50bomb! today i just hooked up the heater hoses so now i have heat! just need the dash hoses... also got the air cleaner threaded rod so i can put on my original air cleaner.... with a twist.. compared to a stock 67 breather mine has about an inch and a half less in diameter under the breather so my air cleaner can breath much better then a stock air filter but it still looks completely stock.
