Strodder, did you get the roof completed on your truck? If so can you post some pictures?

More shaved drip rail pics please. Some times you have to slide in a few build pics between boobies and monkeys. I enjoy all three though.

Work on the truck stopped. I need to get more work done on the Studebaker. The customer is coming to see progress, and with money. I just made new panels in place of the rusted ones in the trunk. Next I have to under coat under the body and put it back on the frame. This weekend I'll get more done on the drip rails.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up

I was just noticed that some threads have a bunch of stars under ratings. How does that happen?

The stars are on the light blue theme sorry....boxes on the gray...but there still the same as the boxes. all it means is people have rated the thread........

I'm having problems with this Forum. The top row of the font menu, and the bar at the top of the thread page where the thread tools are do not respond. Does anybody know how to fix this? I'm on other forums that have the same format, and they all work OK.

I use copper pipe. Smash it with a hammer and weld on that. Works great

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up

Got some drip rail shaving done today. Welded across the back end of the cab. I also shaved the seams in the door jams. Plus the lower windshield seam. It probably won't show, but I shaved it just in case. I'm just a shaving fool.

Yes a long time ago. All I had left to do was install the steering shaft. It steers, just doesn't drive yet.
