Thanks to the help from my wife we were able to get the seat back together and looking good. Couldn't have done it without her. It turned out great other then the sideways picture, lol.

Re: 71 C10 project "Double Tap"
Thanks. Well we all have to be good at something. This was my first attempt at doing seat upholstery work. Just took me about 2 months to work up enough courage to go for it. I think it took me about 8 hours to do.

Same pic, just tried to rotate it and failed miserably. You guys will have to just rotate your screens, lol. Down falls of phone pictures.

Truck did great just a few small corks to work out. Unfortunately this voyage went straight to storage while I work on another truck for the winter.

Re: 71 C10 project "Double Tap"
I know, but I was running on fumes so I hit the closest one to my house and just put a couple gallons of 93 in it. It definitely felt great to be behind the wheel again. Also wasted no time to turn those tires over. It wanted to run!

Went out today to see how Double Tap was doing in its winter home. Battery was dead. Oh well, hopefully I can bring it home soon.

"Don't look at me like that". I knew I shouldn't have looked back before shutting the door.

Re: 71 C10 project "Double Tap"
Yes, I know. But I promised to visit every other weekend. Just doing a complete paint job on a family members truck and looks like it could be a time consuming job.
Thanks. Im going back and forth right now whether to bring it home and tare it back apart for paint or cruise it as is for a few years. Opinions anyone?
