Looks good man. Just wait, you get a 5.3 or 6.0 in there and it will really stick out to people. Not that they easily forget it now.

I just noticed you and I have the same grill/bezels (except my bezels are black to go with mine) and it looks tight on both of our trucks. Your porject came out real nice!

Re: my 80 build

You may check the shipping on those. I got my tank and unit from O'Reilly, and wasn't much more than that. Just something to check out.

Re: my 80 build

I have noticed the parts places are like that sometimes. When I was looking for the Edelbrock fuel line piece on the carb. Summit has it for like $18, and O'Reilly was $39. Then on something else O'Reilly was half the price of Summit. Never hurts to check around on stuff.

Re: my 80 build

today I went to go some lunch trough the drive through and something caught my eye and I scrapped the curb got back to work and noticed a little scrape so when I got home jacked the truck up and looked at the tank it was fine then I noticed my frame where it was welded where it became a short bed it looks to be cracked so I plan on adding more welds and a gusset

Re: my 80 build

made my truck a little better driver friendly. At times it would be real hard to start in the mooring or not even start at all so I added new rotor in the distributor and now it fires right up every time, and wile the truck was running you could wiggle the coil cap and the truck would die, so I took it off and noticed were the ground wire goes the plastic was all burnt so added new one and no more problems. While driving my truck 2 years slammed I was tired of it bottom out ever where in the front so added some stubie bump stops I found at pet boys and what a difference ride much better no more banging noise. the my throttle was real had to push down you would have to punch to go, so added a new throttle bracket what difference and looks 100% better, also some led tail lights from lmc there much brighter, there were fairley easy to install
