Re: "G&S project"
thanks guys. picked up the sheet metal (4x10) for the cowl hood and some more stuff today. one of the neighbors back into the tailgate, so we're gonna redo it too while we're at it. just wish the weather would get more suitable for working outside.

Re: "G&S project"
Finally got some good weather this weekend. Spent most of the weekend fixing damage from the winter. Got a rough draft in cardboard of the cowl hood. Just to see what it's gonna look like. And I do mean rough. It's discouraging to do work then have to redo it on count of the elements. But I guess that's the price to pay when doing all your work outside.
Measurements will be 47 in from cowl lip in front of windshield to where the taper stops at the front . width at cowl lip is 26 in. & width at front tapers to 23. in Last edited by nbpro; 02-13-2011 at 11:28 PM. |

Re: "G&S project"
In the process of redoing the tailgate. We decided to add a third brakelight. This is what we've come up with. It's not finished yet. The LED's have to be cut to size. Still got a ways to go on the tailgate. As far as we had to replace the metal center section. Sorry for the lousy pics. Cell phone camera. Good camera was out of batteries. Wish us luck.

Thanks bro. lol I don't know about the duster. Maybe some help. sh*t man, he's done twice the work that we've done, and he's by himself.

Re: "G&S project"
Yeah, I'd like to see it finished myself, so maybe soon he'll get started back and get her buttoned up.
