Wow. If I was going to get only one option I'm not sure that would be the one....

Re: SPID Picture thread?

IMHO, On a run of the mill driver, Zero, providing the vin tag and the title match. Now, on a high end, high optioned truck that someone's claiming to be original, that's another story. OBTW, you can get a new SPID that even an expert would be hard pressed to tell apart from an original SPID.

Re: SPID Picture thread?

Was just going to post that I found that! Cool.. still wish it had it though.. would love to know my trucks original story. It was bought by the Washington Forrest Service and a lot of work has been done and taken out of it... But I think it'd be cool to have one just for the sake of having it. Thanks Lee!

That one would have some special codes, I'd post a new thread and ask for assistance recreating the SPID. There's a lot of very knowledgeable folks here that can help.

Re: SPID Picture thread?

I know the font is not correct but I personally don't care. I just did it to have a sticker that reflected how my truck is currently optioned. Most people don't know anyway.
If anyone knows a closer font please post it. I used Excel to format the rows and columns.
I know I could have sent it away but I just like to do everything myself.

Re: SPID Picture thread?

Here's an SPID from my 1966 C-10 Custom Cab. it was just about to fall off of the glove box so i taped it down with packing tape. It is a Z61 and a Z62 equipped truck. I created a new sticker using image editing software in order to duplicate my SPID once i repaint the interior. I have a list of the regular production order (RPO) codes if you gents need look up a certain truck options. So what do you guys think?

I used this Windows installable True Type font that I believe is very close.

Re: SPID Picture thread?

My avatar truck: '71 C10 that I bought for $100.00 about 29 years ago. I am adding a few options such as tilt, TH350, chrome bumper, sway bar, four season A/C to name a few. Thanks to several board members for the truck loads of parts

I think you wanted to put that in the square body forum. Your truck was loaded with options though...
