Yeah I but like I said its a 127" c20 frame so it looks just like yours just with leafs instead of coils.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

June (Lockhart) was always tellin Paul, "slam this ride and get some 22's on it!" but he liked the farm truck look. It was a weird combo--it had single rear's on dually rims (just like the front), and a stepper bed with sidemount spare. And tutone! That's about a 1960 episode.

well--the pic didnt open dang it!

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

Dark blue '68 bed, anyone?

http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/cto/3631484448.html

It looks like it was originally Dk Blue truck, judging by the steering column and interior metal. Whats on top of the original paint, who knows! And---it looks like a later model stick. Could be an NV3500, but no clutch cyl, so I doubt it.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

Rusbuilt,... IF you had it to do over,... would you have rather bought a nice 127" wheelbase C20 truck to build your slammed dually out of.
Looks like you aren't using much off the original truck.

I was actually looking for a c20 to start with but the dually just ended up being a good deal. I like a lot about this truck and its really changed my thinking on how I had planned it to be.. So to answer your question I'm glad I end up with this truck even though I will be changing so much.

I was originally going to just do PB arms and like a mild DM on the rear but now after switching frames and all I'm glad I'm able to do the extreme DMs front and rear!

Hey Keith---I don't think that list of suspension parts I sent via PM ever sent (not that I can see in my 'sent' box). I was having problems with my wifi that day. Did you ever see that more detailed list?

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

Let me start by saying i love your truck. I have a 72 c20 custom camper that when i bought want to make into a dually but didnt wanna take on such a project so i just took installed a 5 lug setup lowered it down and rode like that but sitting here in Afghanistan ive been looking more and more at it and once i get home i think maybe you"ll have all the guess work taken out of it and i can jus hit you up with all my guestions for parts. Please keep up the good work i look forward daily to checking out the build
