What's uglier than several acres of Packards!?

Those cars remind me of those iridescent green beetles that come around when I'm finishing a wood project with shellac. It takes a bat to kill those beasties.

Hurricane Agnes in '72, Ellicott City, MD. My friends and I made our way down to that bridge that morning. I wonder if I'm in this picture. Later in the day we were taking others to go see what we saw, but were turned away by National Guard. It had been placed under marshal law. The Guardsman said "You better hope you don't get shot before you get out of here". That sunk right in! Laughing our way along, M16, worried sh!tless going back
