the hood's aren't that bad....it's the cabs and longbeds that weigh a bit. First time I took a longbed off it was me and one other guy with the gate on it and we struggled to walk it over to the sawhorses....that was HEAVY

oh i tried to take on the longbed alone lol. then i got help.

first time i removed a loaded cab it was 3 of us.

last time it was the empty cab and me alone, i fliped it on its side and struggled to slide it in my trailer. took me an hour plus lol. almost crushed myself too.

one of these days ima bust something watch =]

yeah, I moved an empty cab around my backyard by myself and it almost got away from me a couple of times

Been having picture issues but wanted some posted as I promised...

Here's the van loaded with parts for the 70 and the consoles I got from Tim Christian to restore (more up front you can't see)

And here's why the front clip's not off....

I got the fenders almost off and everything off I need to (wiring, regulator, battery, radiator, shroud, fan, etc) to pull the front clip but fighting two spinning bolts in the rad support.....and also have to back it out of the garage (push it) to even get to the bolt for the passenger fender and the big fender washer/bolt for the inner on that side....

it was a chance of rain tonight so I couldn't back it out due to boxes and my seat in the bed....

tomorrow night will be at the state fair (what my wife wanted for her B-day) with my wife and her twin sister and her daughter....so me....and 6 females.....

No truck time tomorrow...hopefully Wednesday during the day...but I'll try to post the rest of the pictures and descriptions tomorrow night.

Yeah...pb blaster is great....but these are spinning already so that won't help here....plus they're so rusty I'd never re-use so I'll just cut them out. I have new ones ready to go in and the new rad support so not trying to take too long saving this scrap metal

Anyone have a clue what vehicle this radiator came from? It's skinny but fits the opening well other than the upper brackets that don't mount to anything of course...thinking of taking those off and re-using it....or option 2 is an ebay aluminum radiator since they can be had for 149 and look much more expensive

Haven't pulled all the codes but almost EVERYTHING looks original on the engine....air cleaner, carb, intake, manifolds, alt, rad hoses, clamps, water pump.....

looks good. keep it going. i seldom use gloves, they protect nice and keep your hands from getting greasy but i lose dexterity.
