Little work today.......did I mention how "hot" it is here!!.......got Chrome shifter handle in and plate moded to fit.....I think I'm going to like the "6 speed" look with boot.....Got the panels from Nate installed with a few mods...ended up with 1/2 " tubing frame and heavy velcro to hold panels...works great.....working on stock ssr side panels and e-brake install this evening.............jim

Re: 68 aka "Chained in Porterbuilt Prison"
Looks beautiful. You are probably putting some serious insulation behind that back panel I imagine? From what I understand that's where a lot of your road noise comes from as when u take gas tank out of cab you have tremendous reverb from the back of the cab like its a big drum. I love the way that panel looks

Re: 68 aka "Chained in Porterbuilt Prison"
looks awesome...im on the fence on the inserts myself but have some super cool sound ideas with them.....i want them because I have a crazy gas tank idea as well as the speakers but just haven quite pulled the trigger on it. I like the SSR set up different and fits very well thought out....ive spend hours creating similar out of wood and wood super glue to create a similar look....next time someone wants this Im buying that center first..lol

Re: 68 aka "Chained in Porterbuilt Prison"
Interested to see what you come up with on the Zune. I've got mine going from the earphone jack on the Zune into the mini amp's RCA input's. It works.....but if there's a better way.

Re: 68 aka "Chained in Porterbuilt Prison"
Finished initial fit of console today...working on e-brake mounting now..U can now see where e-brake will tuck in like factory!...don't let height of console fool U....it's perfect with seats installed....you'll see some pieces added on pass. side to complete panel..at rear of stock panel was fuse box cover....now about half exposed and epoxied in place.....side panels will be covered in final plan.........jim
