Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Installed driveshaft.....moved under its own power!! Figured out exactly what I want for my exhaust setup.....should be pretty slick.. Not to mention very angry I'll try to have it in by the end of this week.

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Thanks! It is an awesome feeling...
Thank you. That's the plan! Quote:
This is just a mock up. I'll be running two 18" body Cherry Bombs for that old school sound which should be here Thursday. 2.5" aluminized straight back from the headers and one 45 degree bend under the very back of the cab to come out about where you see. Since I had the pipes made with this angle, I'll be able to get 45 degree stainless tips to be parallel to the body lines. |

Sweet video! Thought I'd also share this picture.
It's a huge incentive! You've got a very very nice truck and it was awesome to be able to drive it. It'll be cool when you can get a chance to come check out my 67! |

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Just read all 16 pages. I was lucky enough to be there at first start up, so now I'll need to see a short (semi-legal) drive. I understand the need as I put a few miles on mine well before it was totally legal. I had insurance and license, but no glass and was also missing a driver's door. But, I understand how fun it is to drive it even a short distance when you've got so many hours invested in just working on it.
It looks and sounds great (so far) so a hearty congratulations to you, your brother and dad.

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
You are welcome! Glad we had the chance to do that. I'll be over when you are in town again to check out your ride and listen to that great sounding exhaust in person!

I know I said there would be a video...but I didn't have time to upload it to various places before I left for College Station. My dad will be emailing me the videos so I'll put them up when I can. Cherry Bombs sound awesome. |

I drove it down the street and my brother drove it back! Dad got some footage of the truck on the way back. |

Thanks guys!!
Well...just got done with my first day of classes. The semester should go pretty well. My brother is starting work at the end of February so he's spending a whole lot of time on the truck until then. |

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Very nice work, excellent detail, I love the 67/68 my sons first vehicle was a 67 big window fleetside. We have always regretted getting rid of that truck.
Good luck. looking forward to watching your progress.
