Re: Project Patina Burb

Ordered my 20 inch Mobsteel wheels today. Should be here in a couple of weeks. I've decided to powdercoat them a light gray and incorporate the 67 only dog dish caps.

Re: Project Patina Burb

Worked on the burb for a little while today with Inherited71. Still having issues with the oil pressure and my guy that was going to come over and get it running today had to postpone until next Saturday. Also my fuel tank has a leak in it that I thought I'd patched. I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop the oil pan to see if there's an issue with the pickup tube. We cranked and cranked on it and we weren't able to get anything. We dropped the oil filter and it was dry as a bone. Trae(Inherited 71) took my gas tank home with him and has the cahunas to weld up the leak.

I was able to get the second row seatbelts installed and some weatherstripping on the doors in place.

We rolled it outside and I took a few pics. I'm very happy with how it looks so far.

Re: Project Patina Burb

Do the wheels come in any backspacing you want?
Or do you have only a few sizes to choose from?

Re: Project Patina Burb

They asked me what backspacing I wanted. I got 4.5 in the front and 4.0 in the rear. It's the same as klmore got for his. They made the wheels right after I ordered them.
