Thank you gentlemen.
This morning I checked the pinion angle at ride height and I'm .7% between the two. Whew what a stroke of luck that was.

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

Got more of the front end done today, worked on the headlights relays and wiring, just have to finish the trans cooler tubing when that comes in. Seems like everyone is using the bad weather excuse on shipping.
My hood hinges are woefully weak, so I'll have to replace those.

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

I ran into the shipping thing too. My package took 10 days to get from California to Atlanta. Says it will be delivered tomorrow.

Your truck looks like it's almost ready to hit the road again

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

Well if I can get the firewall insulated on the p-side I can install the heat/AC unit and run the heat/ac hoses and plug it in electrically. Install the drive shaft, get a battery, term those cables, fill it with all the oils/fluids... Yep maybe I could at least start it.
But I bought another set of headers so I have to change those out first.
After I start it I can get to the glass shop, then the muffler shop, Get tires and wheels, then the upholsterer in Houston. Get it inspected, go the county to register it...
Oh, I forgot to buy the wood, get it and finish it and install it.

Progress is progress. The list just seems to grow the closer you get.
