Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"
Hood in first prime. It's getting closer.
Powder coater should have my radiator support done maybe tomorrow, then i can build the front end for the final time. I finished up installing the door panels on the passsenger side doors last night, then shut the doors to realize i forgot to put the lock cylinder in.

Looks great!
Not a huge fan of those mirrors, but this is on of my favorite dually builds.

I never was crazy about them either, but after looking at my options i think i made the right choice. Besides i wanted electric, i hate not being able to adjust my mirrors while driving.

Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"
I recieved another piece of the puzzle yesterday. It's aused dash pad that came from MD. Not perfect but pretty close and cheap to boot. I just need to repair a little spot and dye it, then i can finish up the interior.

Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"
What did you have to fix on the dash?

Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"
It had a small spot right above the trim on the right side that was missing a piece. I used some two part epoxy to fill it and when it started getting tacky i used a scotchbright pad to put some texture back in it.
I am glad you chimed in, been wanting to ask how your dually rides with the aol bags on the back?

Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"
It rides great, i was worried about it being real bumpy but it rides better than before. My tires have a lot of dry rot so I havent put many miles on it yet though. Tennessee wheel/tire is supposed to have 20" dually wheels sometime this summer so I'm waiting to replace them.
