Re: Killers 5.3L install
i placed the drain hidden under the cab support that the inner fender bolts to...and the water rolls off the inner fender.... also remember that the drain needs to be located about 1" lower then then units lowest point...

Re: Killers 5.3L install
This truely is a Killer build for a Killer truck. The name def. matches the truck. I wanna eventually put a 6.0L Silverado SS engine in my 68. What were you saying about ALLDATA.com 68ss? i went there, but what do you buy to get all the info and how much does it cost? if you dont mind. thanks, phil

Re: Killers 5.3L install
Very nice!
Just out of curiosity, whats with the different wheel / tire combo front and back? Is that just a perception issue?

Re: Killers 5.3L install
Hey Killer, GREAT photos from show. One of my bud's has a natural 5.3 2000 C truck with a little Lingenfelter program and Whipplecharger that walks away from all GT stangs and most Vette's excluding the Z06. GO BRO GO. Well maybe "waller" out the intake and exhaust ports a little.

Re: Killers 5.3L install
So how does yours run? I wondered how well a 5.3 would move one of these old trucks. I am very very happy with my ls1 and 4l60e, turning 1700rpm is nice with 3:73's running 60mph.

Re: Killers 5.3L install
it runs great... it'll relly start to pull around 3000, like all theses LS engines do, we still have more left in the tune so it should be even better here shortly..
