Re: My 57 Pro Street
Beautiful models. If I built those, I dont know if I would build a truck.
Is that a kitchen/workshop combo. I think that I am going to do that. When my wife goes out, I will move all my shop stuff into the kitchen. Maybe she will get the hint to stay out of my garage. |

Re: My 57 Pro Street
That front bumper iz lookin slick!
I have been thinking on not putting a bumper on, but maybe i should take this ans see if an adjustment is needed with my front end. Keep up the advanced work! Brian Posted via Mobile Device

Re: My 57 Pro Street
Well I've decided to go in a little different direction with my build.
I was originally going to run a stroked 454 BB. When I started adding up what it was going to cost to build my bare block and get a O.D trans it got to be a little discouraging. I started hitting craigslist and found this combo from a guy who happened to live near me. 6.0 LS2 with a 4L70 out of an 2009 SS Trailblazer. It only has 18,000 miles. These are rated at 395 HP and around 400 Ft Lbs of torque. Comes with all the accessories, computer and harness for the engine and trans. The initial outlay hurt but it should save me a lot in the long run and I will finally be able to make some real progress on my build. Here's a few pics. Kim |

She'll still be a good engine combo for you.
![]() I was in the same boat myself and went with the engine trans combo I have now. Sometimes your wants doesnt match your wallet. ![]() My wallet has more lint in it than money. ![]() With the recession and job security makes you more money conscious. You can always play around with chips and computer programming ![]() http://www.fastchip.com/ I can't wait till you have her shoe horned in and fired up! Now you are going to have to make a drive shaft correct or find one that will fit? Me and my father made one for mine.

Re: My 57 Pro Street
once you get it running, you will never regret an efi motor
![]() i chose the easy way out with the ramjet motor, but i paid dearly for it ![]() i'm surprised that it has a belt drive cooling fan, i thought everything had electric fans any more

It's going to be fun making it fit. This was the last thing I needed to finish my frame. I will have to change the pan but they make them for my front clip so that shouldn't be a problem. Kim |

Welcome to the LSx club Kim! I think that's the way to go (ask Bam). There's so much you can do with these engine/trans combo.
