The guy that built the white one is something of hero with that build ... the F20C transplants into Celicas is becoming quite popular due to him.

Mike, sorry for a mini hijack ... looking forward to some updates on this naughty little minx!

No worries Steve. Sweet project, and nice truck too! I'm going to have to peruse that site some more.

S2000 PCD is 5x114.3mm or 5x4.5"

That is a great site. English based, so a lot of the cars are English, but there are also a lot of Japanese cars too. I'm English so the draw is obvious. Thanks for the kudos on my old broad, she's now as reliable as a hammer.

Some of the things those Brits do in single sized mini garages and with a hammer and a cheap harbor freight welder is truly amazing.

It doesn't seem to be a problem here. We just don't have enough heat/humidity I suppose. I have bare metal on the 61 that has been exposed for years without showing any sign of flash/rust. I'm sure it's no longer perfectly clean though.

I was looking through the 400 pages of pics you have (yeah, I had a little time to kill), but I saw the pics of when you moved the shifter on the output housing of the trans. I see where you cut it off, but I did not find any pics of how you re-attached the "shifter receptacle" to the trans.

So, how'd you do it??

I'm waiting till after the engine mounts are built to position the shifter.

Great progress Mike!!! I'm still partial to "Tubby" though, . You need to update your photobucket, I can't see any of the pictures on the last few pages.....

Thanks Rob Tubby has a pile of PB parts on the way and will get some love in the new year.

The photobucket account has exceeded bandwidth limits for the month. Will be back to normal in Jan...

Last update till 2010!

I have the PS frame rail fully integrated. Still a little clean up to do on the top and all of the underside.

Here's the photobucket link until I'm out of the bandwidth doghouse

Re: '66 Sunbeam Minx Project - F20C/6sp/4-link/Discs...

Thanks guys. Feels great to have one side complete. The other side should be smooth sailing when I get back to it in Jan 2010. The marked area on the framerail is where the header is close and may need to be relieved slightly.

I've seen that build and talked to the builder. Nice guy, and a nice car. I'd say that the one that runs wins
