Re: Streetrod Farm Truck build..."the Diesel"
yeah lol...I've gone back and forth and back and forth on whether to paint this truck...I DON'T want to paint it, but I think that a painted truck will do MUCH better for the image of my new shop...so I'm compromising and just buying another truck and leaving my patina truck the way it is...

just the size and room inside will get you some attention and business... there's no limit.

Re: Streetrod Farm Truck build..."the Diesel"
I'm liking this idea more and more...this way I don't have to find another truck either...it's sitting out in the yard already...

Re: Streetrod Farm Truck build..."the Diesel"
no not too big...the bigger the better...the more real estate, the more creativity I can lay out...honestly smaller is always harder to figure out...I guess I have new stuff to think about now

Re: Streetrod Farm Truck build..."the Diesel"
sell me the diesel...... actually... keep the motor and trans for the crew and sell me the body... I got a brand new freshly built 468 sitting on the stand with nothing to put it in..... of course... if you sell it to me.............. Im sanding the surface rust off and painting it lol.

Re: Streetrod Farm Truck build..."the Diesel"
yall don't get it...I LOVE this truck like it is...I'm not doing anything to it, and that includes selling it...lol
I may eventually put a LSx engine in it...not sure...for now it's gonna stay like it is... the crewcab on the other hand has no idea what's in store for it...it's been sitting outside for almost a year I guess taking a nice nap... |

Re: Streetrod Farm Truck build..."the Diesel"
I understand man, I got a yard full of cars that I love for one reason or another.. I have the ****tyest 1990 v6 firebird on the planet and I'd sell my 2000 trans am before I would sell it... I love it. I spent alot of time with it in high school... Im prolly never gonna get rid of it. Keep an eye out for me a solid project that I could stick my big block in.

Yeah I love it like no other truck I've had...I lusted after this truck for about 4 years before I bought it...lol
I'll definitely keep my eyes open...if you're really seriously looking right now, I gotta friend who does alot of wheeling and dealing and I'm sure he can find you something solid...this is the same guy I got my crewcab from... Last edited by Stitch; 05-03-2011 at 10:03 PM. |

I've been telling you to do the crew cab. Maybe you can get Jeebus' interior guy to do yours too!
