intro + 66 black bagged long fleet

well i think i got it figured out... i added a lil bigger spacer on top of the sway bar and raised up the mount on the lowering blocks.. now the angle looks right when its at ride height

here is what i did to the lowering blocks

here it is at normal driving height (oklahoma roads suck!!!!!)


and here is the truck all the way up... this thing has a lot of travel so that sway bar moves alot




i couldnt find a 2 inch stainless radiator hose kit so i orderd some 2" - 1 3/4" silicone adapter.. hope that dont give me problems since the lower hose will be a 1/4" smaller




i pulled the truck out of the shop to do some cleaning in the shop... if i can get a buddy to come by today im gonna try to push it out in the yard and get some better pics
i was afraid to do it because i dont think i can push it back up into my shop by myself

haha ya i still dont have a windsheild so it would be pretty fail to have it stuck in the middle of the yard all day... but man i wanna be able to step back and look at it!!! its driving me crazy

coulter, what size plate did you use to cup your lower control arms? i'm thinking about doing mine but not at this time, i want to drive it first!! i need to get some metal plate anyways when i do my tilt hood, i got some cardboard templates made up for right now! just so i'll know how much metal to buy!

truck looks good just sitting there, nice job on the rear sway bar

i used 2" wide 1/4" think flatstock for the sides and 1/4" plate for the bottom.. its actually pretty easy to do

still have alot of work to do on the drivers side... and adjust the doors and bed but its getting there




















btw just picked up a new distributor.. hopefully gonna get that in and maybe finish my plug wires

are you going to widen the rear wheelwells out? i still have those wheelwells i offered you awhile back, but with work right now it will be a month or so before i head that way! i might be able to head that way on a saturday in the next week or two, just let me know if you want them!

got a couple small updates

got my msd distributor on and cut my plug wires to length.. still gotta crimp the ends on... i gotta borrow a crimp tool from a buddy first.

also i mocked up a lil teaser ive got brewing in my head
im wanting to make something that will hang down off the bottom of the dash to add some detail / hide the firewall..
this is what i had in mind but im gonna make it a lil shorter and with more curve in the pieces... it will go across the whole bottom of the dash.
it will be poilished stainless what yall think?
