So, how do you send off a cab? You sure are hanging in there! Keep up the great work, and hey, post a few pics when you can

Re: Project "Schrum" 1959 Gmc 100
Just curious, but when putting the top on, do you have the windshield and back glass handy, or how do you make sure the glass will fit?
My 59 really isn't in the best of shape even though it has a nice paint job. But the front top windshield frame was down a bit in the front (not noticeable), I'm talking a tad and the glass wouldn't go in the normal way. Just make sure the clearances are right http://www.classiccarsandtools.com/2...native-method/

Re: Project "Schrum" 1959 Gmc 100
I am very happy to see the doors are being hung before the roof is welded back on. that would be unfortunate if it went back together and the doors didn't fit.
big job coming along nicely. keep the pics coming. |

Re: Project "Schrum" 1959 Gmc 100
More progress on the truck
The cab roof is done He’s finishing up with the cab and then it’s on to the doors Because the man I paid 1,800 bucks to fix the doors, front fenders and bed screwed everything up four years ago and Ted is having to repair the doors where the other guy screwed things up
