Moose, any idea if those headers clear the steering for the rack and pinion used with the dropmember?

I'm not 100% sure..but I would think they'll be ok....my headers are supposed to be here tomorrow. ..I wish I had a motor in the 67 and I could tell you for sure....

It looks like they would clear. I ended up just going with SS manifolds, so I'm curious to see if these will work.

Re: Owen's C10

picked up some parts on the weekend, got the front end and hood off that poor old '68. hood, grill, rad support, very straight chrome/rust front bumper, and the cowl.....scored a decent interior out of the red gmc, seat, door panels, armrests, visors, and the hardware. it was originally a four speed truck so I robbed the column and the high hump as well.

yeah no problem...if you scroll back a few pics you'll see the pass side fender all pushed in on the bottoms and kinked by the door...the drivers side had a huge rusty spot on it as well as the lower corners...the cab had carpet on the floor and nothing under it...I don't know how the grill and bumper stayed in such good shape and I wasn't leaving without them...glad I had the battery recip. saw with me....lol.

Ya I didn't go back far enough! I have a guy in Vegas who has fourteen 67-68 complete grills & 7 or 8 hoods he had the foresight to stock pile them 20 yrs ago and they are in excellent condition. Nice score on your part!

thanks...it was total luck!....found this guy through a friend that bought a 70 c/10 from him, and he had mentioned that he had a few parts trucks there but thought they were all 1970 and up but we should go look..so we did and there ended up being two '68s there...among the others.

Re: Owen's C10

The 63 looks good with that 5.3l. Not as good as a 6.0l in that 67 is going to look though!
