Re: Jans 53

I hope you get better soon.

As my Jeep buddies say, "it ain't yours until you bleed on it!"

Sorry to see you hurt yourself...or as Forrest Gump says..."something jumped up and bit me!" Blood, sweat, and tears over our rides right? Get well soon!

Re: Jans 53

Thanks everyone,
This isn’t the first time and it won’t be the last.
When my friend met my husband for the first time he told her he worked at a sawmill, her response was how many fingers are you missing? As he held up his hands she turned red when she saw that he was missing about a third of his index finger.

Robert, your Jeep buddies are absolutely right….or as I say I ain’t over til the fat lady bleeds.

Jan

I hope you are healing well.

I have been (Scolded) in my younger years and learned from it.

When I was young I did Not understand.

Now that I am a Machinist. {I Do}

I am more important than that piece of Material or machine.

Let that piece of metal / Plastic or what ever you are working with be Less important than You.

Re: Jans 53

Ok, I couldn’t stand it anymore had to get back to working on the truck. Removed the old hinges and installed the new style today. Everything pretty much works the same as the old ones except these open a little wider.

That's a really slick design. Can't wait to see it on the truck in action!

Re: Jans 53

Shot some epoxy primer on the bed frame today. These small annoying jobs are wearing on me but I’m trying to stay motivated. The finger is about half healed now but still pretty ugly, the amputation was pretty minor so once healed it shouldn’t be too noticeable.

Re: Jans 53

Keep the faith. The small jobs have to be done too.

For any of you guys complaining about working on your project, I don't wanna hear it... Jan is doing it with only 92% of her hand left, still healing, welding hinges and shooting primer!

Get back ta work ya lazy bums

Re: Jans 53

I’m still lurking around watching everyone else.
Unfortunately my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in Oct so I have been staying with her.
On a good note I am with my daughter and sil in Arizona this weekend to pick up his Polaris rzr that he won from iconixindustries.co who knew people really do win! Look at the link for more info. I will post more info on this later we pick it up 4 hrs from now.
