I don't see a gun rack in the rear window, so... how did that happen?

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Blew it up. Yesterday actually, started pulling the sheet metal off the front of the 67 and gonna pull the 327 and put in the 72. But it's snowballing, I'm gonna go ahead and put in the rockers and cab supports and add power steering and detail the front frame and the engine and under the hood 67 front end going back on it! So yea it'll be down for a bit.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I got this far on my 67 tear down.
I've got alot of cleaning to do on the 327 and gonna replace pan and valve cover gaskets and front and rear seal. This engine only has 89K on it.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Thanks for turning the pics! And for the comments! Almost finished It last night, but our awesome parts store doesn't carry brake hoses for older chevy trucks apparently.. And I broke a bolt off and the bolt getting place was closed when I got there.. So first thing this morning I got a bolt and rolled it back out of the shop.. Maybe tomorrow it'll be finished

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Worst build day ever...But it's over.
It's a personal thang...I hate screwing around with the windows. I was gone on a road trip for about four weeks. Almost every night I thought about that passenger window that I left with unfinished electric window wiring and mechanism install. They were good thoughts. Today, I got a chance to go to the shop at 8:15. I was going to "beat the heat". When I figured out the nuances of the install when I put in the driver's side, I figured I'd do the same thing on the passenger's side in about an hour. After pulling everything out of the door (except the door opening hardware), I found out that I was going to have to come in from the top with the window glass and "carrier" in order to hook on the three "slider buttons". Not so with the first door. Maybe it was me, being a right-hander and left-brainer. All's well that ends well, I guess. At 2:30, though. I guess it was 85 degrees F.....Felt like 120. Still have to do the final wiring and the passenger door panel. BTW, great quality on this electric window kit from ECE. It was a present. But I think it was about five bills. I definitely paid the price today.

Re : What I Did To My Truck Today
I finsally got off my duff and installed my powerbrakes ~ note the correct GM vacuum hose and clips , brackets etc. ~ it took me a while to find the bell crank and related parts , they're in good shape but were nearly frozen having never been greased when new .
Lucky there was no wear , all I had to do was take it all apart & wire brush then grease everything and Lo ! I now have killer good brakes and am happy .

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Installed the lower courtesy lights, boy what a difference. Also replaced defrost hoses, not that I need them at this time of year but now the air at least blows onto the windshield.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Tore most of the wires out yesterday since the p.o. spray painted straight over them all... It would be nice if the horn didn't go off when I turned too hard haha

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Got my front brake hoses in and found new banjo bolts, and ordered a shiny new set of headers that hopefully fit I had the headers next day aired so that I'll have something to work on on the 4th! Nothing like an American tradition of working on your truck
