Those are some good looking peanut butter cookies. Pressing makes them taste even better.

Pecan pie has to be one of my favorite substances, just ahead of carrot cake. I'm sure you enjoyed that pie. I should go to the store and get some of each, though I'm betting your wife's pecan pie has it all over store-bought!

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...
Great pictures! The first is best but even the second showing just a piece of tailgate. Just an old truck and some pecans.
Is it pee-cans, pee-cons, or peekins

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...
Thanks for the kind comments, guys. Yeah, my wife uses my mom's pecan pie recipe with a little cinnamon and a TBS of bourbon in it. It's a keeper!
I'm from Arkansas......those are PACONNS. My Grandma always called her pie Karo Nut Pie. I don't care what it's called, but it aint Thanksgiving & Christmas without two or three of them sitting out on the dessert table. I'll share my mom's recipe with yall later. I made a tiktok of it and I'll share the link, but I'll share the recipe when I lay my eyes on it for those who don't do the tok thing.

I bought small head, self drilling deck screws to use instead of nails to replace some cedar siding on the house. They have the spline drive and claim they are hardened to eliminate stripping. Another chinesium lie. They do go thru the cedar easily, but once they hit the OSB, they want to strip before they make it to the 2x4. I ended up pre-drilling 100 friggen holes to use this crap. |

I forgot about the puh-cons and puh-cans pronunciation and that's how I do it. (puhcons). I know one thing, I always know what people mean.

Baked more cookies this morning. I decided to try a different kind this time. These are called Cream - Filled Chocolate Cookies The filling is Butter, Powdered Sugar, and Marshmallow Cream. With a dash of Vanilla of course..... Also put part of the snow fence up. I know we are going to get it sooner or later but it was 70º here today. LockDoc
