Mike how could you get to 11,997 post then just call it a night... You should have at least posted a picture of the neighbors cat or you sweeping the floors in your garage.

the pipe to put the iron in might cool the soldering iron off a little , the pipe itself will get hot for sure
maibe you need to tack a little nail across the end to stick the tip under so it kindah floats inside the pipe and contacts less surface

i am a firm believer that having the right tool makes every job easier, even if you build that tool yourself, i have tried to hold wires and solder them together ....that doesnt work so i whipped this up last night !

That's funny you think you're done fabbing! Just a hunch, but I'd bet a buck or two that another cool idea pops into your head at night. It looks *****in! Tucking lug-nut.....what's next! How bout Slosh Tubz Soldering Stations!? Couple lightening holes, some pin stripe.....

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

i just hope the trucks are the same all over , if you got a slightly bigger radiator or a radiator cap in a different spot that kite whont fly
you could sell it in slightly larger parts that are beadrolled but that you still need to weld together though so you can trim it to any size
