Looking great! I really dig the period paint on it with the 22's. would be cool to run it like that.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
So I was going through some pictures and found these of my wife and I on our camping trip this past summer. These were taken on our drive up the canyon with me towing my side by side atv.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
My 86 has arrived! Shipped up from California to the great white north. What a truck. 67000 original miles. Completely gone over. Complete new interior. New paint. Runs and drives like it was new. Had dual block heaters installed. It has a 165 thermostat I'm sure. That has yet to be changed. I'm in love.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
I sold my 87 a few months ago. I wish I had the bumper off it now. It belongs on the 4x4. I can't find one on the net, any suggestions?

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
I do miss the 87. It had just turned 100000k. It wasn't any use in the winter as 2wd. A guy from New Zealand bought it. I'm sure it wanted to get out of the cold anyway.

Hmm, ya think that would work? I like the chrome heart and big girl style. That's what we have to keep warm.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs
Q-jet I presume? With an electric choke I wouldn't think a low engine temp would keep it on fast idle. Do the secondaries open once its warm?

Good question, I will check when I get a chance. It does kick down but not as much as I would expect.

I assume qjet, buy all I have done is synthetic oil change and block heaters, I haven't even had the air cleaner off. It had been in the -35 c range for weeks. -1 today. Feels tropical.
