If it is a q-jet and you're into tinkering with that, pm me an email address. I have a great tech paper that's worth the read!

Are you running a standard rear wheel or is this like TW&T's Tow Nasty wheel?

Do you have a build thread on how to switch over to the SRW axle? I'd love to lower/bag my C30 but I'm not too sure about finding a wheel that fits.

You would think there are enough trucks still on the road to keep them from being obsolete.

Took the sides off, much better. Gonna figure out a system for easy removal so I can take them off in 5 minutes.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Not sure why but I’ve been on a crew cab kick the past few nights and looked at all 188 pages of this thread. Man, there are some really nice crew cabs on these pages and of course, a lot of unfortunate hack jobs too but I enjoyed looking at all of them. If someone didn’t know any better, they would think GM actually made crew cab short beds, ½ crew cabs and Cummins powered crew cabs. By the looks of some of the pictures and videos it appears like almost any good corn fed farm boy with a welder and a pole barn can pull off a reasonably decent Cummins 12V swap. Dang it! Now I want a crew cab long bed for a project.

Ditto! Except maybe the Cummins, I'd love one but I'm not that adventurous. A properly put-together (DiryLarry style) crew cab could last me a lifetime...it's on the list!

I have always wanted to keep my crew all GM with a 8.2 detroit diesel in it or if I had the cash a duramax swap. I have had cummins trucks (and still have one) and they have never gave me problems but I just like idea of it being pieced together out of GM's parts box sorta speak.

as it stands its 6.2 NV3500 5spd dana 44 dana 70hd 4.10 gears 37" goodyear military OZ's and home built lift of around 2.5-4"
