Cool video (I had to mute it though....).

Condolences on the loss of your mother & congrats on the project completion in her honor + the big win @ the show.

The video is really cool, plus my interior shot made it in.

I was watching this video earlier (different one than what was recently posted) and saw some familiar doors in the background around the 2:14 mark.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Tootsie looks fantastic, as usual. Which casino were you at? Makes me wish I was back in Oregon. I was a 4 hour trip away from HAN.

Jim, Hot August Nights sells out most years and they cap it at 5,000 cars/trucks. That's right, 5,000. IIRC, the "official" shows are usually spread out around 4 different casinos throughout town, and a section of downtown on the street. It's pretty impressive how many cars/trucks are actually down there. I've been there a couple of times, as a spectator.

Thumbs up Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

I had Lokar taped on DVR. I watched it today not knowing you were on the program. Tootsie looked great and good interview. I was saddened to learn of your mother. What a joy it would be to see this vehicle in person.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

I enjoyed the Brothers coverage I DVR'd it and just watched it last night. It is nice for us Midwest/East Coast guys to see some show coverage from out West. Nice truck and video of you explaining all of your hard work.

You and your family should be proud.

Marc

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

I am getting tuned in a few weeks. I am scared to death to tune it because I am afraid it will brake the drive shaft and tare up the bottom of the truck

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Well none of us want to see that! I'd love to hear it run once you get it all dialed in though!

Is it the original driveshaft or did you get an aftermarket one? Inland Empire driveline is close to you, but a lot of folks use Denny's

I am running a inland empire 1000 hp two piece shaft. I am still scared but I will put it on the dyno. I wont be able to go for the 1000 crank hp until I change the blower drive out to a 10 rib
