Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
I'm sorry dude. Sportin' my Tootsie shirt tomorrow and sending all my love to your Ma. Your family will survive. Every one of us will face the same fate, some cancer, some heart disease, some war, some accidents... you name it but all of us gotta go one way or another. It just sucks when it's something other than time. My G-Ma is just about 100 and still sharp as a *uckin tack but that's unusual. Some folks are losing their kids. You're a good dude and have lots going for you (kids!) Ma did well and now its up to you to teach your kids and pass that along. You can keep her around for a lot longer man and this truck of yours is just one way. Stand strong and help others with what you've learned.
Oh, and your Mom's truck is looking sweet too, just need more pics!! Still ain't seen no burnout.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Eric - I haven't regularly been on the site as of late and, like so many of the members on the site, I too have been saddened to hear of the recent news concerning your Mom's health. I wish someone could give you some kind of words to make it easier, but this is something we all have to deal with at some point in time. My Mom passed away in 1996 and, these many years later, I still miss her so much. I hope you have many treasured memories to help you and your family through this difficult time. I think it's important to remember that your Mom did a wonderful job of bringing up her son, becoming the kind of person you are, and you know she is very, very proud of you. You and your family are in our thoughts.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Thanks guys I appreciate it. My mom is hanging in there. She has not been out of bed for a month and her condition is getting worse by the day. Friends and family have been by her side daily. Her pain comes and goes but we are still able to talk with her so its nice to talk to her. We took her off the morphine at her request because as she said I am tired of being out in La la land. Had to laugh that she still had a sense of humor. I am working woth Marquez and Vince form seat works to finish Tootsie. I am sure my mother won't get to see it with the new interior but she saw it before Sema and that's all that matter. Hope all the dads have a great Father's Day.
