Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
glasstek.com Very good quality. Very thick fiberglass. The fit is great. When it came the rear of the cowl area was very long. We had to trim about two inches off to get the hood to fit properly which was good. That extra material gives you some room for trimming depending on how close to the glass you want it. I bought a harwood for my chevelle at the same time he bought this hood. Night and day difference in the two. Their website only shows 73-80 but call them and ask about your particuar application. They do make custom hoods. They custom made my brothers by grafting a 4 inch cowl on top of another 4 inch cowl. They arent cheap. My brothers hood was 850 shipped.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Thanks! Yeah, it was my grandpas idea and we had leftover paint from painting the truck so we wet sanded the rims threw some paint on and it really makes the chrome pop!

I have the shackles and lo-pro bumpstops sitting in the tool box. Just waiting on some nice weather to install them and trim the front springs a bit. If I need a notch I'll make my own out of 1/4" and 3/8" steel plate. So that's how it should sit when I'm done within a couple weeks. Last edited by LivNLo94; 02-25-2011 at 11:27 PM. |
