Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I installed a new starter, remote solenoid, and rebuilt the engine harness, with the correct size wire for HEI. Got all my gauges in the cluster working, finally. PO really butchered this thing up good!

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I got my Vintage Air slimline unit (for rear air) mounted in the rear of my Burb. Got the hoses ran from the back through the firewall and into the engine compartment, but no fittings installed yet. It has to be functional by Friday because we are heading to the beach! Gen II system isn't cooling the whole Burb enough!
Photos being taken, build thread to come...

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Got all of the wiring for the lights at the back of the truck wired in, all the lights work. Painless wiring harness! HA! Pain-in-the-ass wiring harness is more like it.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I finished up the hidden latches and the s-10 link cables and finished with the tailgate. Son in law helped me flip the bed upside down so I could blast the underside. Ready to coat underside steel with por 15. My friend called this afternoon (he is doing the floor of the cab-----guess what?? one more opportunity to spend money has come up!!!! Oh well--its only money, right??
I have taken a boat load of pics, but my camera is HD and so far I havent got the pics resized so I can download them here.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
LSX swap??
Not today, but yesterday I pulled the BBC and trans along with the drive shaft from my 72' in preparation for the new LS1. I de-greased the motor bay and power washed it, but I think its worth letting some super clean sit for a few days. |

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
There are 2 buttons supplies with the gauges but there are also 3 buttons on the face of the clock, I am unsure if the buttons on the clock face are programming buttons for the system or just the clock.
