have been working on some small things
installed the gas pedal and cable, run the battery cable's
and put sound deadener on floor an roof still got some places to do.
and got the door window switch in place.

got some more painted parts ready for assembly
put in the steering column and steering wheel


and yesterday i got a call the wheels arrived and where ready for pickup
so we picked them up today and couldnt wait to put them on






when ordering the wheels i figured tire availabillity and size choice would not be a big issue
but found out we are limited to one size for the rear wheels (335/30 r18)
front's are easier (225/45 r18)

18x8 with a 4.5 back space (zerro offset) here a nice tool to determine tire fit

well its standing temporary on this ''clean'' side due to the paint work and sanding dust in the workshop, when thats done it will move back there

i did some little things today, like installing the battery tray, battery and charger cable with a plug under the cab behind the cab corner
and put on the cover and then took this picture


also put on the freshly painter sun visor


and here a shiny trans cover its a shame to cover it up with carpet

finished the brake lines and installed the brake pedal and master cill. and booster





also got the rear window in but still need to put the lock bead in

I see you have the residual pressure valves in your brake lines.
I don't think you need them because your master cylinder is higher than your wheel cylinders. I thought they were only used to keep the fluid from flowing back into the master cylinder when it is lower than the wheel cylinders.

your right Kim the should not be needed, but the residual valves were in the set i had so i figured i would just put them in line

Is that gas pedal setup custom fabricated?? I really wanted to use a stock style pedal linkage that ran into the floor but could not find a way to make it work with a cable like you have!

If it was purchased, may I ask where you got it?

i was just looking at your build this pedal is from lokar just like your cable setup your using

have been fighting with rear window getting lockbead in place
and i have won !


and then done an easy job by putting the rearview mirror in place


and put in the steering column for the final time.............
because i had damaged the paint when trying to determine the correct steering wheel height.

I just started following your build. I must say that I am very impressed with the work you have done on this truck. I wish I would have seen this thread before I started on my truck. But, mine is almost finished and I am pretty pleased with the way it turned out. I really like everything that you have done. This is going to be one very impressive truck when it rolls out for the final showing. I just love it.
