Keep up the good work. Hope I can get back to Clarksville soon. Maybe i'll wait till all the storms pass!

LOL My garage is always a mess! I need to get rid of some stuff. Yeah the storms are getting on my nerves. We were without power for like 20hrs yesterday. We have more rain coming too. I'm ready for Florida myself.

Thanks! I lowered it with a ECE 4-6 drop kit. Yeah some of em do get long. I usually go through looking at pics most of the time.

Thanks. I didn't know that. I am in Florida with the family and don't know when I'll get to work on the truck.

I'm really diggin those 8" wide wheels. I didn't even know they existed. What year truck or car do they come off of? Great build btw. I really like the look of your truck. Seems familiar somehow but a little shorter

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

these were made for someone from stockers. I bought them this way. I was going to get a pic of it outside but things have kept me busy around the house.
Lightening struck our underground dog fence and cable. It burnt the wire 15' from the house. No wire left in the jacket..I fried 3 tvs, surge protectors, 2 garage door openers, computer power cord and all cable in the house had burnt jacks. I've rerun the cable. Had the cable co come out and check their connection on the pole. It was bad too they said. Waiting for insurance claim to see what I'm left buying. So I"ve been busy and haven't touched the truck. I so want to just work on the truck one complete weekend. till then......

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Man that sucks! Sorry to hear about the mess you have. I worked for Cox communications in AZ for 11 years before moving to AR so I know what your dealing with. Almost sounds like the line wasn't grounded properly to cause that much damage in your house. Who's your provider? I hope your insurance pulls through on the damages.

As far as the wheels, I was kinda thinking that they might be custom. I wonder how hard it would be to re hoop a set myself? Oh well, my intentions outweigh my motivation by like 85%

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Sorry to hear about the wiring..

$80 bucks to have tires taken off and re mounted?!?!?!?!?!?! holy crap man! Next time give me a shout! Theres a small mom pop place with awesome vintage signs about 20 minutes from I 24 @ Manchester TN exit that charges $5 to take a tire off 1 wheel and put it on another, and sometimes he'll throw in a coke!!!!!!!!!

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Here you go Nate..I got the truck rolled out today to change the garage door openers. Snapped some pics when I was done. Honey-do list is getting shorter so maybe I can work on it soon. I've also lost some motivation too. I think the frontend will come down some more when I get the motor done and running. and get the ac installed, inners installed. The rear is full of bicycle and tv boxes so its not weighed down that much.

I do too. I think that it sets the truck apart from most.
